The Right Beauty Tools

There a flower
Bursting at the seams
Water splashed the colour
Sealed with golden sun-beams.

Skeleton:

A blue flower droops from a skeletons eye
Rested on his cheek, his smile is wry
Strewn thin are his cotton-spun bones
As time turned him frail the flower turned to stone.

Flower book:

Flowers in the water
Flowers in the mist
Flowers in the cemetery
Flowers in heaven

These are all pressed,
In my flower pressing book.

Wild Red Roses:

Flowers yield in shapeless wind
Then the wind paints roses on my skin
The colours rush right through my veins
And they look like purple tinged shadow rain.
